The gloves are made of acrylic, and they are soft and slightly fluffy, fitting the little hands very well. I bought a different set of gloves at Children's Place, which were a bit bigger as compared to these ones, so if you are looking for a snug fit for a toddler under 3, these gloves are better. Many people think that toddlers prefer mittens over gloves because it might be tough to convince them to put their fingers in the right place in the gloves. However, my little one actually did not mind putting these ones on. The gloves were also thinner compared to the children's place gloves, which makes them more useful for grabbing things like leaves and acorns outside and climbing at playgrounds.
There are several flaws in the quality of this product. After getting wet a few times, I noticed that the material was starting to bunch up. Also after the gloves got wet, the black colored stripes on the yellow gloves started to run a bit.
Still I would recommend getting a set of these gloves. Your toddler will enjoy picking up a different color pair to wear every day,they are soft and flexible, and perfect for building that snowman from the first winter snow.
