(More customer reviews)So the term "infant" is somewhat ambiguous. I take it to describe someone under the age of 12 months (after which point I would consider the individual a "toddler"). Well, suffice to say, if you are looking for "baby" mittens, keep looking.
The good: Well made, nice material, good design.
The bad: As implied, the sizing. I bought these for my son, 8 months old, who normally wears 12 month clothing (28", 20 lbs.). These mittens are BIG on him-- there is no way they are staying on. Being rather petite, I may be able to fit my own hands in these pretty comfortably. Okay, that is a slight exaggeration, but not much. These mittens should be labeled and described as "toddler mittens." I would guess that my son will be able to wear these in about 12 months, so perhaps we will save them for next winter. Basically, these are meant to fit an 18 month-3 year old hand, not a baby's.
They get three stars because the material is nice and the design in good (I mean, who puts individual baby fingers in gloves?!?-- some manufacturers expect parents to do this?!?), but the sizing should be more descriptive.
