(More customer reviews)My son is 9 months old and we live in Minnesota, meaning that getting him from the car to day care (or wherever we're going) is challenging in the cold winter time. We know we're not supposed to put him in anything too bulky in the carseat, but it's way too challenging to try to put on a coat after we get him out of the seat to make the 30 foot walk to the front door of day care. Plus, his legs still aren't covered up and I'm not about to try to put pants on him, too!
This bunting solves the problem. It's not too bulky in the carseat so I can still get the belt tight and solves the problem of having him be in the cold (it can get to 30 below in the winter!).
That being said, he HATES getting into it. He cries and arches his back, but he's fine once he's in it. Also, he's pretty long for his age (greater than 97th percentile) and we ordered an 18 month size. It actually fits him really well right now, though I'm concerned that if he hits a growth spurt before the winter is over and gains more than an inch or two, we might be squeezing him in it before the (very long Minnesota) winter is through.
Overall, this is a great product, especially if you can get it on sale!
