My 3 month old doesn't kick his legs much when he has a full body sleeper on, so we put him in a onesie and the leg warmers to encourage him to use his legs more. They are pretty warm, though he does kick them off occasionally. They are about 9 inches long and as wide around as an aluminum soda can, which works for my chunky legged boy, but maybe not for skinny legged babies. They have a good stretch to them. I would buy them again.
