Initially, when I received the item, it was loose on him, but the ears were closed, after the first washing (GENTLE handwash with no squeezing of any kind) it as if stopped holding together - it didn't lose the shape but somehow got MUCH bigger - so that my sons ears are all open...
Maybe, it will fit once he hits a year, but no earlier.
